It can be calculated as \(e_{\text{m}} = \frac{V_{\text{m}}}{V_{\text{s}}_{\text{m}}}\), where \(V_{\text{m}}\) is the volume of the micropores, and \(V_{\text{s}}\) is the solid volume.
